Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert, born on January 27, 1970, is an American journalist on the radio who was formerly an official in the federal government. She was the Spokesperson for United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, which is a think-tank that is conservative.
Before joining the Department of State, Nauert was an Fox News reporter and news presenter for Fox & Friends. Nauert was also Acting under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs during the Trump administration from March until October 2018. In the year 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and the White House Commission on White House Fellowships.
